Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
ATAD3B belongs to the AAA ATPase family, proteins that catalyze ATP to ADP and participate in cellular functions such as cell-cycle regulation, protein proteolysis, and transport. The AAA ATPase family features a conserved AAA motif with Walker homology sequences conferring ATPase activity. Mitochondrial membrane proteins ATAD3A/B help stabilize nucleoids and may influence transformation pathways and chemosensitivity in oligodendrogliomas. The ATAD3A/B/C genes are located on human chromosome 1 and may serve as anti-apoptotic markers.
