Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity chromatography using an epitope-specific immunogen. The purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
JHDM1D is a histone demethylase that specifically demethylates dimethylated Lys-9 and Lys-27 (H3K9me2 and H3K27me2) of histone H3, playing a central role in the histone code. It binds trimethylated Lys-4 of histone H3 (H3K4me3), which influences its demethylase specificity — in the presence of H3K4me3, it loses activity toward H3K9me2 but retains high activity toward H3K27me2. It demethylates H3K9me2 in the absence of H3K4me3.
