Target Information
PTBP2 encodes a protein that binds to intronic clusters of RNA regulatory elements known as downstream control sequences (DCS). It plays a role in regulating the assembly of other splicing-regulatory proteins. PTBP2 is closely related to the polypyrimidine tract-binding protein but is primarily expressed in the brain.
