Target Information
PTBP2 encodes a protein that binds to the intronic cluster of RNA regulatory elements, known as the downstream control sequence (DCS). It is involved in regulating the assembly of other splicing-regulatory proteins. This protein is similar to the polypyrimidine tract-binding protein but is expressed primarily in the brain.
