Target Information
PTBP2 encodes a protein that binds to the intronic cluster of RNA regulatory elements known as the downstream control sequence (DCS). It plays a role in controlling the assembly of other splicing-regulatory proteins. This protein is highly similar to polypyrimidine tract binding protein but is primarily expressed in the brain.
