Product Specific Information
- For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
- For conjugation experiments, it is recommended to perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Variant histone H2A that replaces conventional H2A in specific nucleosomes where it represses transcription. Nucleosomes compact DNA into chromatin, regulating its accessibility for transcription, replication, and repair. Histones play a key role in chromatin structure and gene regulation through post-translational modifications and nucleosome remodeling. H2AFY2 may contribute to stable X chromosome inactivation.
