Product Specific Information

• Each lot’s sensitivity is confirmed using ELISA.
• Specificity is verified by immunoelectrophoresis (IEP).
• Reconstitution: Rehydrate with 1.1 mL of deionized water; allow to stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. (Product is overfilled to ensure complete recovery.)
• Centrifuge to remove particulates.
• Prepare fresh working dilution daily.
• Shelf life: 1 year from date of receipt.
• Based on IEP, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin goat serum immunoglobulins.

Target Information

Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified reagents with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins.
They are used for detection, sorting, or purification of target proteins.
Secondary antibodies enhance versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification through multiple binding events.
These antibodies are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species, followed by purification and optional modification (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, or label conjugation) to achieve high specificity.
