Target Information
Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins. These antibodies are useful in detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target. Secondary antibodies offer increased versatility, allowing use with multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and provide enhanced sensitivity through signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
They are typically generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and may be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, fragmentation, label conjugation) to produce highly specific reagents.
