Rehydrate with 0.55 mL of deionized water and let stand 30 minutes at room temperature to dissolve. Centrifuge to remove any particulates. Prepare fresh working dilution daily. Store lyophilized material at 2–8°C. For long-term storage after reconstitution, dilute with 50% glycerol and store at -20°C as a liquid.
Based on immunoelectrophoresis, no reactivity is observed to non-immunoglobulin goat serum immunoglobulins or IgG/serum proteins from human, mouse, or rabbit.

Target Information

Anti-Goat secondary antibodies are affinity-purified antibodies with well-characterized specificity for goat immunoglobulins. They are useful for detection, sorting, or purification of the specified target.
Secondary antibodies offer versatility and sensitivity by enabling multiple detection systems (e.g., HRP, AP, fluorescence) and signal amplification, as multiple secondary antibodies can bind to a single primary antibody.
These antibodies are generated by immunizing the host animal with pooled immunoglobulins from the target species and can be further purified or modified (e.g., immunoaffinity chromatography, antibody fragmentation, label conjugation) to generate highly specific reagents.
