Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. These systems clone specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits, followed by screening of individual clones to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
Transforming Growth Factor, beta receptor 2 (TGFBR2) is a member of the TGF-beta family of receptor Serine/Threonine kinases involved in the regulation of cell proliferation.
TGFBR2 encodes the gamma subunit of the catalytic core of mitochondrial ATP synthase, which catalyzes ATP synthesis utilizing an electrochemical proton gradient across the inner membrane during oxidative phosphorylation. The enzyme complex includes:
- F1 (soluble catalytic core): composed of α, β, γ, δ, ε subunits (3α, 3β, 1 each of γ, δ, ε)
- Fo (membrane-spanning proton channel): composed of a, b, c subunits
Alternatively spliced transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been identified. TGFBR2 also has a pseudogene on chromosome 14.
