This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey, Rat, and Mouse.
Antigen is similar to product #44-462G. The sequence is conserved in many species including mouse, rat, chimp, hamster, and rabbit.

MAP2K1 (MEK1) kinase is a dual-specificity protein kinase functioning in mitogen-activated protein kinase (MAPK) cascades, controlling cell growth and differentiation.
MAP2K1 is activated by various growth factors, cytokines, membrane-dependent depolarization, and calcium influx.
MEK1 is activated by phosphorylation of serine 218 and 222 residues by Raf1. It is involved in signaling during stress response, apoptosis, and cytokine-induced proliferation.
Mutations in MAP2K1 can lead to cardiofaciocutaneous syndrome.
