For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL (Product #89882).

Target Information

Mutations in the GNAS gene are associated with:

• Pseudohypoparathyroidism type 1a and 1b
• Albright hereditary osteodystrophy
• Pseudopseudohypoparathyroidism
• McCune-Albright syndrome
• Progressive osseous heteroplasia
• Polyostotic fibrous dysplasia of bone
• Certain pituitary tumors

The GNAS gene exhibits complex imprinted expression with multiple alternatively spliced transcripts. Some transcripts introduce frameshifts resulting in structurally distinct isoforms. An antisense transcript may regulate imprinting in this region.
