For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

SOCS (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling) proteins are SH2 domain-containing adaptor molecules that negatively regulate cytokine receptor signaling.
The SOCS family includes SOCS-1 through SOCS-7 and CIS. Each protein consists of:

• N-terminal variable region
• Central SH2 domain
• C-terminal SOCS box motif

SOCS proteins function as part of a negative feedback loop controlling cytokine signaling via STAT-induced transcriptional mechanisms.
Transcription of SOCS genes occurs rapidly in response to cytokines, and each member inhibits signaling in distinct ways.
