1 µg/mL of MA5-45303 was sufficient for detection of HSP47 in 20 µg of heat-shocked HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects a 47 kDa protein.
Target Information
SERPINH1 is a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors, and its expression is induced by heat shock. The SERPINH1 protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen and binds collagen, suggesting it functions as a molecular chaperone in collagen maturation. Autoantibodies to SERPINH1 have been found in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
