Product Specific Information
1 µg/mL of MA5-45304 was sufficient for detection of HSP47 in 20 µg of heat-shocked HeLa cell lysate by colorimetric immunoblot analysis using Goat anti-mouse IgG:HRP as the secondary antibody. Detects 47 kDa protein.
Target Information
SERPINH1 is a member of the serpin superfamily of serine proteinase inhibitors. Its expression is induced by heat shock and the protein localizes to the endoplasmic reticulum lumen. It binds collagen and functions as a molecular chaperone involved in collagen maturation. Autoantibodies to SERPINH1 have been observed in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.
