Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to reach a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

PSMA7 is a component of the 20S core proteasome complex involved in proteolytic degradation of intracellular proteins.
This complex forms the 26S proteasome with two 19S regulatory particles, participating in ATP-dependent degradation of ubiquitinated proteins.
It plays a critical role in maintaining protein homeostasis by removing misfolded or unnecessary proteins.
The 20S proteasome also mediates ubiquitin-independent degradation, involved in spermatogenesis and MHC class I antigen presentation.
PSMA7 inhibits HIF-1A transactivation under normoxic and hypoxic conditions and contributes to HIF-1A degradation.
It also plays roles in hepatitis C virus translation and androgen receptor nuclear translocation.
