For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

CD63 (LAMP-3, lysosome-associated membrane protein-3) is a tetraspanin family glycoprotein found in late endosomes, lysosomes, and secretory vesicles of various cell types.
It is also expressed on the plasma membrane following cell activation and serves as a basophil activation marker.

• In mast cells, CD63 expression does not require activation.
• Interacts with integrins, influences phagocytosis and cell migration, and participates in regulation of H/K-ATPase and ROMK1 channels.
• Acts as a T-cell costimulation molecule.
• CD63 expression can serve as a prognostic marker in early-stage carcinomas.
• Expressed on activated platelets, monocytes, macrophages, and weakly on granulocytes, B, and T cells.
• Identical to melanoma-associated antigen ME491 and platelet antigen PTLGP40.
• Associated diseases include melanoma and Hermansky-Pudlak Syndrome.
