Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
Protein that mediates both AMPylation and de-AMPylation of target proteins depending on context.
Acts as a regulator of the ERN1/IRE1-mediated unfolded protein response (UPR) by modifying HSPA5/BiP at Thr-518.
Under non-stress conditions, functions as an adenylyltransferase (AMPylation) to inactivate HSPA5/BiP; under ER stress, acts as a phosphodiesterase (de-AMPylation) to restore its activity.
Although capable of AMPylating RhoA, Rac, and Cdc42 in vitro, these are not physiological substrates.
