For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (e.g., Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Arginase catalyzes the hydrolysis of arginine to ornithine and urea. Mammalian arginase exists in two isoforms (types I and II) that differ in tissue distribution, subcellular localization, immunologic crossreactivity, and physiologic function.
The type II isoform encoded by this gene is mitochondrial and expressed in extra-hepatic tissues such as the kidney. It may play roles in nitric oxide and polyamine metabolism. Transcript variants resulting from alternative polyadenylation have been described.
