This antibody specifically recognizes Human B7-H3/CD276.
Target Information
CD276 (B7-H3) is a member of the B7 family of co-stimulatory molecules. It is a type I transmembrane protein that promotes proliferation of CD4+ and CD8+ T cells, enhances cytotoxic T cell generation, and stimulates interferon gamma production.
Expression can be induced on dendritic cells and monocytes by inflammatory cytokines, and it is widely expressed in peripheral tissues such as heart, kidney, testis, and colon.
In humans, CD276 exists as two isoforms due to gene duplication and differential splicing.
CD276 has therapeutic potential in regulating cell-mediated immune responses to cancer, particularly when combined with anti-angiogenic therapy.
