For reconstitution, we recommend adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
To use this carrier-free antibody for conjugation experiments, perform an additional round of desalting using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

The modification of proteins with ubiquitin is an essential cellular mechanism for targeting abnormal or short-lived proteins for degradation.
Ubiquitination involves at least three classes of enzymes:

1. Ubiquitin-activating enzymes (E1s)
2. Ubiquitin-conjugating enzymes (E2s)
3. Ubiquitin-protein ligases (E3s)

The UBE2J1 gene encodes an E2 ubiquitin-conjugating enzyme located in the membrane of the endoplasmic reticulum. It may contribute to ER-associated degradation quality control via the ubiquitin-proteasome system.
