Product Specific Information
- For PFA-fixed tissues: incubate antibody for 30 minutes at room temperature.
- For formalin-fixed tissues: heat sections in 10 mM Tris with 1 mM EDTA (pH 9.0) for 45 minutes at 95°C, then cool at room temperature for 20 minutes.
Target Information
Terminal Deoxynucleotidyl Transferase (TdT) is a DNA polymerase located in the nucleus that catalyzes polymerization of deoxynucleotides at the 3′ hydroxyl ends of oligo or polydeoxynucleotide initiators, functioning without a template.
TdT serves as a highly specific marker for the diagnosis and classification of acute lymphoblastic lymphoma/leukemias. Determining TdT expression is useful for differentiating histologically between lymphoblastic lymphoma and Burkitt’s lymphoma.
