Target Information

DR3 (TNFRSF25) is a member of the TNF-receptor superfamily, expressed mainly in lymphocyte-rich tissues.
It plays a role in regulating lymphocyte homeostasis and can stimulate NF-kappa B activity and control apoptosis.
Signal transduction occurs via death domain-containing adaptor proteins.
Mouse knockout studies indicate its role in eliminating self-reactive T cells in the thymus.
Multiple alternatively spliced transcript variants exist, producing distinct isoforms, many of which are secreted.
Upon T-cell activation, full-length membrane-bound isoforms are predominantly expressed, contributing to lymphocyte proliferation control.
