FLIP (CFLAR)는 세포 생존과 세포사멸 경로를 연결하는 중요한 조절 단백질입니다. TNFRSF6 매개 세포사멸을 억제하며, p43 절단 조각은 death-inducing signaling complex (DISC)에 남아 caspase-8의 추가 결합과 활성화를 차단합니다. FLIP의 다양한 아이소폼은 세포사멸을 유도하거나 억제할 수 있으며, 효소적(caspase) 활성을 가지지 않습니다.
