This product is preservative-free. It is recommended to add sodium azide to avoid contamination (final concentration 0.05%–0.1%).

Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.

This antibody has specificity for Mouse c-Met/Met/HGFR.

Target Information

MET (c-Met) is a receptor-like tyrosine kinase whose dysregulation has been linked to many types of human malignancies. Upon ligand activation, MET interacts with PI3-kinase subunit PIK3R1, PLCG1, SRC, GRB2, and STAT3, leading to activation of signaling cascades including RAS-ERK, PI3K-AKT, and PLCγ-PKC.

Biological roles:

  • Embryonic development (gastrulation, muscle and neuron formation, angiogenesis, kidney development)
  • Adult functions (wound healing, organ regeneration, tissue remodeling)

MET has been associated with cancers including gastric, renal, and breast cancers, making it a target for cancer therapeutics and diagnostics.
