Product Specific Information
The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum using epitope-specific immunogen. Purity is greater than 95% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Target Information
The C1D protein is a DNA-binding, apoptosis-inducing protein localized in the nucleus. It interacts with Rac3 and functions as a corepressor for the thyroid hormone receptor. It is thought to regulate TRAX/Translin complex formation. Alternate splicing produces multiple transcript variants encoding the same protein. Multiple pseudogenes are located on chromosome 10.
