Product Specific Information
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems. The expression systems are developed by cloning the specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select the best candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:
- High specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to the large rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
Calr (Calreticulin) is a calcium-binding chaperone that promotes folding, oligomeric assembly, and quality control in the endoplasmic reticulum (ER) via the calreticulin/calnexin cycle. It interacts transiently with monoglucosylated glycoproteins synthesized in the ER and with the DNA-binding domain of NR3C1 to mediate nuclear export. Calreticulin may also be involved in maternal gene expression regulation and oocyte maturation through calcium homeostasis regulation.
For Research Use Only.
Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
