Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems, developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.

Target Information
SUMO1 is a ubiquitin-like protein that can be covalently attached to target proteins as a monomer or lysine-linked polymer. This modification requires activation by the E1 complex (SAE1-SAE2), transfer to the E2 enzyme (UBE2I), and can be promoted by E3 ligases such as PIAS1–4, RANBP2, or CBX4. SUMO1-mediated post-translational modification regulates crucial cellular processes including nuclear transport, DNA replication and repair, mitosis, and signal transduction. It is also involved in targeting RANGAP1 to the nuclear pore complex protein RANBP2. Polymeric SUMO1 chains can be polyubiquitinated, signaling proteasomal degradation. Additionally, SUMO1 may regulate genes involved in palate development, and mutations can lead to non-syndromic orofacial cleft 10.
