Product Specific Information

RMST2-2 단클론 항체는 ST2(IL-33 receptor, IL-33R 또는 interleukin 1 receptor-like 1)와 반응합니다. ST2는 IL-1 receptor 패밀리에 속하며, 세포막형 ST2는 세 개의 extracellular immunoglobulin domain과 intracellular toll-interleukin-1 receptor domain으로 구성되어 있습니다. IL-33/ST2 상호작용은 Th2 cytokine 생성을 유도하며, soluble isoform은 decoy receptor로 작용할 수 있습니다.
ST2는 Th2 lymphocyte, mast cell, eosinophil, basophil, innate lymphocyte, smooth muscle cell, endothelial cell 등에서 발현되며, 면역 방어, 알레르기, 염증 반응에 관여합니다. IL-33/ST2 상호작용은 동맥경화 보호 효과도 보고되었습니다.

Target Information

IL-33R(ST2)는 IL-33의 수용체로, IL-1 receptor 패밀리에 속합니다. 3개의 Ig-like extracellular domain을 가지며 IL-1RAcP 및 IL-33과 상호작용합니다. IL-33 결합은 MyD88, IRAK1, IRAK4, TRAF6 등의 어댑터 단백질과 결합을 유도하여 NF-κB 및 MAPK 경로를 활성화시킵니다.
이로 인해 IL-5, IL-6, IL-8, IL-13 등의 사이토카인 분비가 유도되며, ST2L(막형)과 ST2S(가용형) 두 가지 주요 isoform이 존재합니다. Soluble form은 decoy receptor로 작용하여 IL-33 신호를 억제할 수 있습니다.
IL-33R은 mast cell, basophil, eosinophil, ILC2, Th2 세포 등에서 주로 발현되며, 알레르기, 관절염, 동맥경화, 패혈증 등 다양한 면역 반응에 관여합니다.
