Product Specific Information
The MU5UBEE monoclonal antibody reacts with human and non-human primate CD185 (CXCR5, BLR1), a seven-transmembrane G protein-coupled receptor originally identified in Burkitt’s lymphoma.
CD185 is expressed on B cells, CD4+ T cells, and memory (CD45RO+) T cells. It plays a crucial role in lymphocyte trafficking, particularly T cell migration into B cell follicles in response to CXCL13, serving as a marker for follicular helper T cells.
This antibody cross-reacts with Rhesus macaque.
Recommended for flow cytometric analysis using 5 µL (1.0 µg) per test.
Brilliant Ultra Violet™ 395 emits at 395 nm and is optimized for cytometers equipped with a 355 nm UV laser.
When using multiple polymer dye-conjugated antibodies, use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer or Brilliant Stain Buffer™ to minimize non-specific interactions.

Target Information
CXCR5 (CD185, Burkitt lymphoma receptor 1) is a G protein-coupled receptor for chemokine BLC.
It is highly expressed in Burkitt’s lymphoma and lymphatic tissues such as lymph node follicles and spleen, and plays an essential role in B cell migration.
CXCR5 is found in human blood, salivary gland, and various animal tissues including lymph nodes, spleen, and tonsils.
As part of the GPCR family, CXCR5 participates in complex signaling and regulation mechanisms, making it a key target in immunological and pharmacological research.
