Product Specific Information
The H1.2F3 monoclonal antibody reacts with mouse CD69, also known as very early activation antigen (VEA). CD69 (~35 kDa) is expressed on the surface as a disulfide-linked dimer. Activation of T and B cells rapidly upregulates CD69 expression, suggesting a role in lymphocyte development and activation.

Applications Tested:
Tested by flow cytometric analysis of resting and activated mouse splenocytes. Recommended usage ≤ 0.5 µg/test in 100 µL final volume. Optimal titration should be performed for specific assays.

Target Information
CD69 (AIM, Active Inducer Molecule) is a gp28/34 disulfide-bonded homodimer (~60 kDa under non-reducing conditions). It contains N-linked oligosaccharides and is present on activated platelets. CD69 is involved in lymphocyte signal transduction and proliferation, and may transmit signals in natural killer cells and platelets. Alternative splicing produces multiple transcript variants.
Diseases associated with CD69 dysfunction include coccidioidomycosis and asthma.
