Product Specific Information

The DREG-56 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD62L, a 76 kDa member of the selectin family. CD62L is expressed by neutrophils, monocytes, and subsets of T, B, and NK cells. It binds glycosylated, fucosylated, sulfated sialylated glycoproteins such as CD34, glycam-1, and MAdCAM-1, mediating lymphocyte rolling on activated endothelium and homing to high endothelial venules (HEV) of peripheral lymphoid tissues.

Applications Reported:

• Flow cytometric analysis
• Inhibition of binding to HEV

Applications Tested:

• Tested by flow cytometric analysis of normal human peripheral blood cells
• Recommended ≤ 1 µg/test (in 100 µL volume, 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test)

Target Information

Human CD62L (L-Selectin) is a 74–95 kDa glycoprotein adhesion receptor. It includes:

• C-type lectin binding domain
• EGF-like domain
• Two short consensus repeat (SCR) sequences
• Spacer, transmembrane, and cytoplasmic regions

CD62L is constitutively expressed on most leukocytes, including lymphocytes (except some memory T cells), monocytes, and polymorphonuclear cells.
