Target Information
The protein encoded by this gene belongs to the TRIM protein family. It contains multiple zinc finger motifs and a leucine zipper motif. It may form homo- or heterodimers involved in nucleic acid binding and act as a transcriptional regulatory factor related to carcinogenesis and differentiation. It may also contribute to suppression of radiosensitivity associated with the ataxia telangiectasia phenotype.
