For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Cytokine receptor signaling is negatively regulated by the SOCS (Suppressor of Cytokine Signaling) family.
Eight members have been identified: SOCS-1, SOCS-2, SOCS-3, SOCS-4, SOCS-5, SOCS-6, SOCS-7, and CIS.
SOCS proteins contain an N-terminal variable region, a central SH2 domain, and a C-terminal SOCS box motif.
They form part of a classical negative feedback loop regulating cytokine signal transduction via STAT-induced transcription.
Each SOCS gene is rapidly transcribed in response to cytokines, and SOCS proteins inhibit signaling through various mechanisms.
