Target Information
Human IgG4 (human immunoglobulin G4) is a subclass of human IgG antibodies produced by the immune system in response to antigens. It is the least abundant IgG subclass in blood and plays a minor role in pathogen defense. IgG4 binds to specific antigens, promoting their clearance through mechanisms such as phagocytosis and complement activation. Additionally, IgG4 contributes to immune tolerance and suppression of inflammation.
