Human IgG4 (human immunoglobulin G4)는 항원에 대한 면역 반응 시 생성되는 인간 IgG 항체의 아형(subclass) 중 하나입니다. 혈중에서 가장 적은 양으로 존재하며 병원체 방어에는 상대적으로 작은 역할을 합니다. IgG4는 특정 항원에 결합하여 식세포작용(phagocytosis) 및 보체 활성화(complement activation) 등을 통해 항원을 제거하는 데 관여합니다. 또한 면역 관용(immune tolerance) 및 염증 억제 반응에도 참여합니다.
