Human IgG4 (human immunoglobulin G4)는 항원에 반응하여 면역계에서 생성되는 인간 IgG 항체의 아형(subclass) 중 하나입니다. 혈중에서 가장 적은 비율을 차지하며, 병원체 방어에서 상대적으로 작은 역할을 담당합니다. IgG4는 특정 항원에 결합하여 식세포작용(phagocytosis) 및 보체 활성화(complement activation) 등의 기전을 통해 제거를 유도합니다. 또한 면역 관용(immune tolerance)과 염증 억제(suppression of inflammation) 등의 면역 반응에도 관여합니다.
