Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of about 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform an additional desalting step using Zeba Spin Desalting Columns (7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
The adaptor-related protein complex 2 (AP-2) is a heterotetrameric coat assembly protein complex involved in endocytosis.
The mu 1 subunit (AP2M1) is essential for vacuolar ATPase activity, facilitating proton pumping and acidification of endosomes and lysosomes.
AP2M1 interacts with HIV-1 Nef protein, enhancing endocytosis of CD4 and MHC class I molecules, and may regulate CTLA-4 intracellular trafficking.
At least two isoforms of AP2M1 are known.
