For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7 K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

Osgep (O-sialoglycoprotein endopeptidase), also known as GCPL1, is a 335 amino acid protein belonging to the peptidase M22 family.
Osgep specifically cleaves the 31-Arg-l-Asp-32 bond in glycophorin A, but does not cleave desialylated glycoproteins, unglycosylated proteins, or N-glycosylated glycoproteins.
It is ubiquitously expressed at low levels, with the highest expression in liver, skeletal muscle, and kidney.
OSGEPL1 (Qri7) is a 414 amino acid protein of the KAE1/YgjD family and exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms. In tRNAs with codons beginning with adenine, OSGEPL1 is required for formation of a threonylcarbamoyl group on adenosine.
