Product Specific Information

For reconstitution, add 100 µL distilled water to achieve a final antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments using this carrier-free antibody, perform an additional desalting step (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).

Target Information

LIMK1 is a serine/threonine kinase that regulates actin cytoskeletal dynamics via phosphorylation of cofilin. It is also implicated in brain development. LIM domains are conserved cysteine-rich structures containing two zinc fingers, which likely mediate protein–protein interactions.
LIM kinase-1 and LIM kinase-2 form a subfamily characterized by two N-terminal LIM motifs and a C-terminal kinase domain. LIMK1 may function in intracellular signaling pathways and is associated with cognitive deficits observed in Williams syndrome due to LIMK1 hemizygosity.
