Target Information

Programmed death receptor ligand 1 (PD-L1, also known as B7-H1) is a B7 family member that binds to programmed death receptor 1 (PD-1), negatively regulating T-cell receptor (TCR) signaling.
Upon receptor binding, PD-L1 decreases TCR-mediated proliferation and cytokine production.
PD-L1 expression is abundant in many murine and human cancers and can be upregulated by IFN-gamma stimulation, suggesting its key role in tumor immune evasion.
