Product Specific Information
This antibody is predicted to react with Monkey and Pig, in addition to Human and Mouse.
Recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies are produced using in vitro expression systems developed by cloning specific antibody DNA sequences from immunoreactive rabbits. Individual clones are screened to select optimal candidates for production.
Advantages of recombinant rabbit monoclonal antibodies:
- High specificity and sensitivity
- Lot-to-lot consistency
- Animal origin-free formulation
- Broader immunoreactivity due to large rabbit immune repertoire
Target Information
SOX9 Function:
SOX9 plays a critical role in sex determination and differentiation of Sertoli cells. It is essential for chondrogenesis, regulating genes involved in cartilage formation as a transcription factor.
SOX9 translocation can cause campomelic dysplasia. It is involved in testis formation, neuron-glia differentiation in the spinal cord, and prostate epithelial development.
Additionally, SOX9 influences neural crest precursor formation and melanin production. It is expressed in adult testis, adult heart, and fetal brain.
For Research Use Only. Not for use in diagnostic procedures. Not for resale without express authorization.
