Product Specific Information

The eBioRDR5 monoclonal antibody reacts with human CD127 (Interleukin-7 Receptor alpha).
CD127 complexes with CD132 (common gamma chain) to form the IL-7 receptor (IL-7R).
It is expressed by immature B cells, thymocytes, and most mature T cells, with transient down-regulation upon activation.

• Function: IL-7 binding triggers Jak/STAT pathway activation, essential for lymphocyte development and T-cell homeostasis.
• Regulatory T Cells: CD127 expression is down-regulated on CD4+CD25+ regulatory T cells (T regs), aiding in identification of true suppressive T reg populations.
• Blocking: Binding of eBioRDR5 to PBMCs is blocked by recombinant human IL-7 (Product #14-1079-80).
• Applications Reported: Flow cytometric analysis of human PBMCs.
• Applications Tested: Pre-diluted; use 5 µL (0.5 µg) per test (100 µL final volume).
• Excitation/Emission: 405 nm / 702 nm (Violet Laser).
• Recommended Filter: 710/50 bandpass filter.

Handling and Storage

• Use Super Bright Complete Staining Buffer (Product #SB-4401) when combining multiple Super Bright dyes.
• Light Sensitivity: Protect vial and samples from light.
• Fixation: Store samples in IC Fixation Buffer (Product #00-8222) or 1-step Fix/Lyse Solution (Product #00-5333) up to 3 days at 4°C in the dark.
• Clone-specific performance should be validated empirically.
