Recombinant rabbit Superclonal™ antibodies are unique offerings from Thermo Fisher Scientific. They are comprised of multiple different recombinant monoclonal antibodies, providing both the sensitivity of polyclonal antibodies and the specificity of monoclonal antibodies, with the consistency of recombinant production.
Functionally similar to polyclonal antibodies, they recognize multiple epitope sites on the target and offer higher detection sensitivity for low-abundance targets. Each lot contains a defined mixture of light and heavy chains, ensuring reproducibility and eliminating biological variability typical of polyclonal antibody production.

Target Information
IL-1 receptor associated kinases (IRAKs) are serine/threonine kinases involved in signaling via Toll/IL-1 pathways. IRAK1 is rapidly recruited by MYD88 to the receptor-signaling complex upon TLR activation. Its association with MYD88 leads to IRAK1 phosphorylation by IRAK4, followed by autophosphorylation and kinase activation.
Alternatively, IRAK1 can phosphorylate TIRAP to promote its ubiquitination and degradation. IRAK1 also phosphorylates interferon regulatory factor 7 (IRF7), inducing its activation and translocation to the nucleus, which drives transcriptional activation of type I IFN genes for antiviral response.
