Product Specific Information
For reconstitution, add 100 µL of distilled water to obtain an antibody concentration of approximately 1 mg/mL.
For conjugation experiments, perform additional desalting (recommended: Zeba Spin Desalting Columns, 7K MWCO, 0.5 mL, Product #89882).
Target Information
CD45 (LCA, leukocyte common antigen) is a receptor-type protein tyrosine phosphatase (PTP) expressed in all nucleated hematopoietic cells, comprising about 10% of all lymphocyte surface proteins.
It is absent in non-hematopoietic cells and tissues. CD45 plays a critical role in lymphocyte development and antigen signaling, regulating Src-family kinases and JAK kinases.
Multiple isoforms exist due to alternative splicing, differing in extracellular domains but sharing identical transmembrane and cytoplasmic domains.
CD45 is essential for T- and B-cell receptor signaling, cytokine receptor regulation, and modulation of integrin-mediated signaling and apoptosis.
