Product Specific Information

Monoclonal antibody 9A11 reacts with human CD370 (Clec9A, DNGR1), a type II transmembrane glycoprotein forming a homodimer at the cell surface. CD370 acts as a cellular receptor on myeloid cells, recognizing F-actin, a dead cell-associated antigen exposed in necrotic cells. Upon ligation, CD370 recruits Syk kinase to its ITAM-like motif, facilitating endocytosis and cross-presentation to CD8+ T cells.

Human CD370 is expressed by CD141+ (BDCA3+) dendritic cells and, to a lesser extent, by CD14+ CD16- monocytes. Unlike in mice, human plasmacytoid dendritic cells do not express CD370.

This antibody has been pre-titrated and tested by flow cytometry on normal human peripheral blood cells. Recommended usage: 5 µL (0.25 µg) per test, defined as the amount that stains a sample in 100 µL final volume. Cell numbers may vary between 10⁵–10⁸ cells/test.
Filtration: 0.2 µm post-manufacturing filtered.
