STX4 (Syntaxin 4)는 세포막의 t-SNARE 단백질로, 수송 소포의 도킹 및 융합을 매개합니다. STX4는 SLC2A4(Glut4)의 세포 내 소포에서 세포막으로의 이동에 필수적이며, STXB3 및 VAMP2와 함께 세포 내 GLUT4 함유 소포의 세포 표면 도킹 및 융합에도 관여할 수 있습니다. 또한 시냅스 소포의 presynaptic active zone 도킹에도 역할을 할 수 있습니다.
