• Reconstitute by adding 100 µL distilled water to achieve ~1 mg/mL antibody concentration.

Target Information

Programmed death-ligand 2 (PD-L2, also known as B7-DC) belongs to the B7 ligand family and acts as a ligand for PD-1. PD-L2 is primarily expressed in dendritic cells but can be induced in various immune and non-immune cells depending on cytokine environment. Its expression increases with IL-4, TNF-alpha, and IFN-gamma. PD-L2 has a higher affinity for PD-1 compared to PD-L1 and functions as an inhibitory immune checkpoint molecule, regulating T cell activation and cytokine secretion. PD-L2 also interacts with RGMb, influencing respiratory tolerance through BMP and neogenin signaling pathways. The human PD-L2 monomer includes a 201-amino-acid extracellular domain, 21-amino-acid transmembrane domain, and 32-amino-acid cytoplasmic domain.
