Target Information
PIK3CG (p110 gamma)는 class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase 계열의 유일한 구성원으로, class IA family와 함께 중요한 세포 내 second messenger인 PIP2를 생성합니다.
PIK3CG는 주로 GPCR 신호 경로 하위에서 작용하며, receptor tyrosine kinase 경로와 구별됩니다.
이 효소는 inositol ring의 3-hydroxyl group을 인산화하며, E-cadherin 매개 세포-세포 접착에 의한 신호를 포함한 다양한 세포 외 신호의 조절에 관여합니다.
또한 NK 세포의 세포독성 조절에 중요한 역할을 하며, myeloid leukemia에서 확인된 염색체 7의 결실 구간에 위치합니다.
