Target Information
PIK3CG (p110 gamma)는 class IB phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase 계열의 유일한 구성원으로, class IA family와 함께 중요한 second messenger인 PIP2를 생성합니다.
PIK3CG는 receptor tyrosine kinase가 아닌 GPCR을 통해 신호를 전달하며, phosphoinositides의 inositol ring 3-hydroxyl group을 인산화하는 효소입니다.
이 단백질은 E-cadherin 매개 세포 간 접착에 의해 유도되는 신호를 포함한 세포 외 신호의 조절자 역할을 하며, 상피의 구조적 및 기능적 완전성을 유지하는 데 중요합니다. 또한 NK 세포의 세포독성 조절에도 관여합니다.
PIK3CG 유전자는 이전에 골수성 백혈병에서 확인된 염색체 7의 결손 영역에 위치합니다.
